Hi Ray I have been to Newcastle upon Tyne but not sure if I can remember that much. Every thing tends to be a bit of a blur when you are traveling.

About Me:
45 Years in education, initially as a teacher of CDT. Always keen on staff development - having attended, delivered or organised well over 400 courses! 25 Years ago moved into IT and have done some great and exciting things.
Now trying to understand how Web2.0 can best support learning in schools. I am presently researching the use of VLEs in schools and am also very keen to develop the 'perfect' e-Portfolio solution for lifelong learning - ie from '5-95'
Has to be CMAP - not exactly web2.0 but a free on-line resource. Primarily CMAP is a concept mapping tool, very easy for kids to get into and yet can be developed for high level interactive presentations. Also it has a sophisitcated on-line collaboration facility which many academics around the worl use.
