Hi Simon,
Thanks for taking the time to respond; I've been holidaying overseas which has been a bit of a reality check and still believe Oz is the best place to live, work and educate. I have returned to learning support and am undertaking more PD in Literacy, Language & Numeracy too so I'm sure there'll be topics we have in common. Cheers, Jane
I expect to tb in Brisbane from about 12 - 19 January. Eagle Fram is most covenient, and close to someofmy family. I wonder if you willbe around in January for a coffee ?
Thanks Simon, I think they will be great meetings once they get going well with topics each week etc. Being only new to the technology, I think I will watch, learn and ask questions for a while yet.
HI Simon
Good to see you at the video in e-learning session. It was great. I got heaps of info and even managed to register on ning and upload a video to my page. Not sure how to add more friends to my page but will work it out.
Thanks Simon. Want some of my play lunch? (I've got sultanas!)

Hi Frank, well I'm just a novice too, but were all here learning together. So feel free to contribute your works in progress, and ask any questions about them.

G'day Simon (and others).
Forgive me - I think it may take me a bit to get used to this Ning thing, but I know I'll get there. I'm certainly looking forward to the various inputs on videos.
Unfortunately I haven't had much to do with video, but I'm looking forward to learning. I will also make a point of reminding you all what it was like as a novice - this won't be intentional, I can't help it :~)
I'm a stonemasonry trade skills teacher at SkillsTech Australia, Eagle Farm. I use one Ning network to communicate with my teaching colleagues, and another to build a community of practice among my students.
