About Me:
After spending the last twenty years working within the refrigeration and air conditioning trade, at differant levels and for myself. I have recently grasped the opportunity and challenge as a full time TAFE teacher. I have started university, which is an experience in itself. A subject at uni and one which seems to dominate a lot of conversations within TAFE is IT and e-learning. To be honest I am a complete novice with e-learning, but am extremely interested in learning more about online tools.
One of the other members states that she 'lurks', this is probably what I am doing at the moment.
Main etools and tips interested in learning more about:
I am very interested in how some etools such as blogging and how it can be applied to enhance learning with young apprentices.

Blogs are the technology I have decided to research, for an essay I am writing at the moment. It was this research into blogs that led to one of the members of this particular community, who suggested I join.

I have discovered that there are blogs within the ning community, so I have really created this post for my own curiosity.

Hi Brian -- welcome to our community!

I am glad you decided to join us. Have been a bit distracted having fun in Second Life so please forgive me for not greeting you sooner.

The key with managing the information from this site is to send the RSS feeds from the Forum and Blog through to a Feed Reader like Google Reader or Bloglines. This means that the information comes to you and you do not need to keep coming back to the site to find out the latest information.

If you are not using a Feed Reader and want help with learning how to please let me know as I am happy to provide assistance!
